I (or my dependent) used the system of direct payment for childbirth. Is there anything I can claim?

If you used the system of direct payment for childbirth, no procedures with the Health Insurance Organization are necessary.
We will pay the delivery institution up to 500,000 yen (*) per child.
Regarding the additional benefit for Childbirth and Childcare Lump-sum Grant (50,000 yen) and any difference resulting from delivery costs being less than 500,000 yen, after processing the hospital's claim, these amounts will be automatically paid to the insured person's salary account.

*For deliveries not covered by the maternity medical care compensation scheme: 488,000 yen
